Planning a move after living in a home for just a few years, or for many, can feel overwhelming.

Where do I start?
What do I take?
What am I going to do with things I no longer need or want? My family doesn’t need them either!
Who is going to help me? I cannot handle this on my own.
Am I doing the right thing?
Relax! We are here to help you answer those questions and prepare for your move.
Frequently, our senior clients are moving by choice and are actively involved in their move preparations. Occasionally, we are assisting because of illness or injury and work closely with family in anticipation of a move from a hospital or rehabilitation, knowing that the senior will likely not be able to return to his or her own home. Sometimes, it is very difficult for family members to help as much as they would like because of distance or their own responsibilities, so we work as surrogates to make sure their parents are moved as effortlessly for them as possible.
No matter what the situation is, we understand that each move is different and your needs are your own and we tailor our services to meet your specific requirements. Whether you are tackling the move on your own or have family available to help you, we can fill in where you need us most. So whether you need a little help or a lot, we are there for you. We are friendly, reliable, client-centered and efficient. The comfort and needs our our seniors are always our first priority. Our complimentary first visit helps us define where our assistance is most needed, though we remain flexible in the event that things change during the process of your move.
We do encourage you to move first, if possible, and then tackle the job of cleaning out and selling your home afterwards. This simplifies the moving process and keeps you focused on taking only what you need and what will comfortably fit in your new home. This also allows you to make a change if you feel you have moved too much, or you find that you have space after all for that special item you thought might not fit.
Once you have relocated, we can then help with removing all other items you no longer require by donating and a variety of ways of selling. Not every senior is moving from a house, so we can also assist you if you have already downsized and now need to relocate, or if you are moving from an apartment or condominium. No move is too small or too large for us to handle. We can move you across the street (which we have actually done!) or across the country.
In short, we can assist you with the entire downsizing and moving process from planning to resettling, and then help you manage what you no longer need. Feel welcome to call us to set up a complimentary consultation.
